Reviving Urban Living with Green Innovation

Our visionary design concept breathes new life into a neglected 1970s retail and office building located at the southern end of Kilburn High Road, marking the gateway to the town centre. The result? A captivating mixed-use apartment building, maintaining street-level retail with office space above, along with a boutique spa nestled in the basement.

To address the architectural challenge of the gable end wall overlooking the railway line, we implemented an ingenious green wall, leveraging cutting-edge living architecture facade technology. This innovation not only preserves the boundary with the neighboring property but also becames a captivating symbol of regeneration at the neighborhood's entrance.

Our proposals extended beyond the facade, focusing on energy efficiency, suitability for housing, and overall street appeal. Four additional floors were seamlessly integrated, expanding the available accommodation. The street-level frontage will undergo a stunning transformation, featuring new display windows and pedestrian entrances.

The concept received support from council devlopment officers and the local community, setting the stage for the next phases of development.
